Jets fans always have this one sided rivalry with us while Leafs fans don't give a shit about them.
Happen with Sandin on Marner a few weeks ago. They definitely check during practice. It is a bit suspicious that no video was released on the incident and nobody claims to have seen it. I'm thinking that Muzzin got carried away and the team is just putting a blanket over it to prevent fan backlash.
They didnt even bring Muzzin on the pre and post game interviews. If that isnt news, I dont know what is. Hope the incident doesnt poison the locker room. We already saw Matthew's ripping into the other half of that pair (holl) a few weeks ago for an offside. Maybe there is already some friction

Ahh Leafs vs. Jets again
Matthews vs Lai... nevermind
Rielly vs. Trou...nevermind
I guess those didn't age well lol.
Didn’t catch yesterday, who played with Matthews w Marner out?
Well I gotta say, thanks to the ignore list my life is more beautiful.Mess is back and posting aggressively early in the game thread again!
One shootout losss and we get to enjoy Mess again!
Welcome back Mess!
My current favourite Leaf. Or as others call him, Vintage.
If Woll can't go I might actually consider going with Campbell again. Hutchinson is pretty damn close to being a non-option, he's been horrid in the AHL as well this year.
Also there is no way Justin Holl should play this game after last night, but we shall see. Keefe will probably switch Liljegren in for Dermott.
Well I gotta say, thanks to the ignore list my life is more beautiful.
It is, isn't it.Kinda sad that a mod would be ignore-worthy.

Been hearing a weird attack on the Leafs lately, even from more mainstream sources....that they haven't played anyone good very often and so their record is inflated.
Then I looked and saw that 16 out of the 25 team they have played have, nevermind points %, more wins than losses even if you include OT/SO losses.
Even looking at points%, the Leafs have played 4 games against the 5 teams above them (going 2-0-2)
If someone tries to use that new line of attack on them, let em know they are full of it.

The best part about a 32 team league is that it makes life for us nerds much easier. We can split the league into even quarters now of 8 teams each.
Competition by pts%:
Vs Top-8: 5gms, 2-1-2, 6pts, 98pt pace
Vs 2nd-8: 6gms, 6-0-0, 12pts, 164pt pace
Vs 3rd-8: 8gms, 4-4-0, 8pts, 82pt pace
Vs Bot-8: 6gms, 5-1-0, 10pts, 137pt pace
So technically we have played the fewest against the top quarter, except not really, because we can only play 7 teams in the top quarter because we can't play ourselves.
And of course the only quarter that we've messed up against is the 3rd quarter - with annoying losses to PIT (x2), LA, and SJ.
Of note, the 5gms against the top 8 include 4gms against the top-4, the best of the best, and the Leafs are 2-0-2 in those 4gms.
i was genuinely happy for them but the instant leaf hate was like ok man...you know what enjoy whatever. And then the matthews vs laine crap...oh manJets fans always have this one sided rivalry with us while Leafs fans don't give a shit about them.
Their problem is that while they are geographically the center, Toronto really is the centerJets fans always have this one sided rivalry with us while Leafs fans don't give a shit about them.
Some of us non nerd prodigies can do this shit in our headsIf we don't think standings tell the whole story, we can do it by xGF%. xGF% says that a team like PIT is actually a top-8 team and LA and SJ are top half teams, for example.
xGF%
Vs Top-8: 6gms, 3-3-0, 6pts, 82pt pace
Vs 2nd-8: 8gms, 4-2-2, 10pts, 103pt pace
Vs 3rd-8: 4gms, 4-0-0, 8pts, 164pt pace
Vs Bot-8: 7gms, 6-1-0, 12pts, 141pt pace
Looking at the underlying performances, our schedule has actually been more tough than easy, and the struggles against teams like PIT, LA, SJ make more sense - and the performance against each quartile makes more sense too.
