Happen with Sandin on Marner a few weeks ago. They definitely check during practice. It is a bit suspicious that no video was released on the incident and nobody claims to have seen it. I'm thinking that Muzzin got carried away and the team is just putting a blanket over it to prevent fan backlash.
They didnt even bring Muzzin on the pre and post game interviews. If that isnt news, I dont know what is. Hope the incident doesnt poison the locker room. We already saw Matthew's ripping into the other half of that pair (holl) a few weeks ago for an offside. Maybe there is already some friction
He was hit by Simmonds earlier in the year. And none of these guys are going to have friction with Muzzin. Muzzin would wreck almost everyone, and the ones that could wreck him, would likely take his side, i.e. Simmonds.

If Woll can't go I might actually consider going with Campbell again. Hutchinson is pretty damn close to being a non-option, he's been horrid in the AHL as well this year.

Also there is no way Justin Holl should play this game after last night, but we shall see. Keefe will probably switch Liljegren in for Dermott.
No chance you can play Campbell tonight after that hit he took last night. I wouldn't even have him dress.

I'm a big picture realist guy, as some fans seem so fixated only on the Leafs alone, and that narrow vision misses what is also happening around them.

Our Leafs have won 15 of their last 18 games which in and of itself is impressive and still Florida and TB are right there with them in the standings.

Woll vs Hellebuyck tonight is not a fair fight, so Leafs are going to need to bring their A game in a back to back to win this one, but this feels like trap game.
It would definitely be something to worry about if only 2 of the 3 teams would make the playoffs....but that isn't the case is it.

Mess is back and posting aggressively early in the game thread again!

One shootout losss and we get to enjoy Mess again!

Welcome back Mess!

It feels pretty terrific to already be 11 points up on Boston.

Detroit is hanging around longer than I thought they would, but I am not too concerned with them. They actually sort remind me of our 2016-17 where everyone expected us to drop off, and they just never did lol Just a solid young team, who has an actual goalie to build around (LOL Carolina)

Detroit just passed cbj for 8th in the east last night.

Currently 5 Atlantic teams hold playoffs spots while only 3 teams from the mighty metro are in.

Hi everyone,

I did the GDT for the Jets, so I thought I’d share the Stats clips courtesy of The Score App with you, for those interested.

This game is annoyingly dangerous.

2nd night of a back to back, 2 consecutive travel days, Woll in and always one game away from turning back into a pumpkin, Marner out, other guys injured, and a Jets team that no matter how poor they're playing always have the goaltending and individual scoring to pull one out.

The extra point last night would have been really nice to bank.

That being said, let's beat up this team anyways. Just one more good game from you Woll and you can go back to the AHL feeling great about yourself.

This is a tough one given the circumstances, hoping we can pull it out but if we don't I won't be surprised.

I expect a win, team showed a lot of heart last night.

Does Spezza start with Matthews? Is Spezza playing?

Personally I would start Anderson there. Keep the 2nd 3rd and 4th lines the way they've been through this good stretch of games. Probably switching in Spezza every once in a while. Matthews doesn't need a lot of space to get a good shot off. All he really needs is a couple of guys that are willing to go get the puck and be decent passers. I think Bunting and Anderson can do just that.

They got heart for sure, but second night of a B2B on the road against a rested Jets team with out 3rd string in net and Marner out is a tall task.

I expect them to do a bit of a rotation on his wing like they did last game. Also get him on the top line in certain spots.

Missed a majority of last game but from the last chunk of the 3rd + the highlights I watched this morning, I have come to the conclusion that muzzin Holl is a bad pairing. Specifically Holl, that first goal…..he looked like a 5 foot 3 sub 150 pound player infront of the net

so hope Liljegren dermott play instead of him

We so much mo gangsta than they is sire!! And we got that twerk.

Is Woll a guaranteed starter no?
