Coaching the Leafs is not a top destination for A level coaches.the exhaustive search was for this hire???
Let’s cast a wide net and catch the tiniest fish.

If this is true this has to be the most totally random hire I've ever seen after all the names that have been mentioned.
I hadn't even heard this guys name brought up once.
Buckley wrong with another prediction![]()

Why is it that bad ?horrific hire, all the positivity since the lottery has evaporated
He is literally more like Berube than Berube himself.I just hope he isnt another Berube. Please tell me he can fix the offense
He was Babcock's assistant here.Who?
I seriously dont know
Hiller isn’t another Bérubé thankfully. Hes an offensive minded coach and he’s also a players coach. Problem is LA couldn’t defend for shit HAHA. So we’ll see how that works out in Toronto. But I like that he already has familiarity with Matthews and Nylander and it’s not going to be starting from ground zero to establish a relationship with those guys. I’m sure those two have given some insight into what it was like working with him.I just hope he isnt another Berube. Please tell me he can fix the offense
Toronto is not a popular destination for players or gm/coachesSeems like bargain bin gm and coach
