104 career wins in los Angeles I'd rather Bruce Boudreau

Chayka is going to do well until he hangs himself with high risk bad moves like dubas did.

Burke started moves like this rubbing leaf fans the wrong way every chance they get.

The leafs alumni need to take over mlse like the flyer alumni did to turn around the flyers.

Hopefully mats is learning ehat not to do so he can take over after a few yrs of drafting low

The trade yesterday coupled with this hire is like the early days of Treliving all over again. Doing mental gymnastics to not crap on the guy only so many days into his tenure.

Don't love it personally, he was an assistant back in the Babcock days and it's always a tough jump from assistant to HC with the same group (and he'd have experience with Nylander and Matthews). Then his record in LA was good, but they never could overcome that first round, which is familiar.

Assistant under both Trotz, McLellan and Babs is interesting though

I just hope he isnt another Berube. Please tell me he can fix the offense
Hiller isn’t another Bérubé thankfully. Hes an offensive minded coach and he’s also a players coach. Problem is LA couldn’t defend for shit HAHA. So we’ll see how that works out in Toronto. But I like that he already has familiarity with Matthews and Nylander and it’s not going to be starting from ground zero to establish a relationship with those guys. I’m sure those two have given some insight into what it was like working with him.
