rumour going around is that Leafs didn't notice that marchand did that on purpose until after the game. Then they addressed it in the locker room.

Assuming above to be true Marchand gotta pay. I don't care about 2 points. Leafs have gotta go out and tell the league you can't do that to our teammate we don't give a flying F who you are

If Reaves doesn't F-up a few bruins including marchand then Reaves really doesn't belong on the roster even in the pressbox IMO
I'm gonna say Reavo isn't going after Marchand. That's heavyweight vs lightweight shit disturber. NHL Code says that's not his fight, despite what happened. However...I could see Domi taking a few runs at RatBoy until he snaps with a stick swing (as he has been known to do) which could accomplish two things: Gets Needle Nose out of this game potentially, and, if its a serious enough wood chop, he could even get a game or 3 (wishful thinking, I know).

Pretty sure the earliest Klingberg could come back would be January 12th.
Not sure if you are referring to the injury or LTIR rules.

If the injury, no one know how serious it is. If LTIR, it would be retroactive to the last game that he was healthy enough to play, which was November 11. He has to be out 24 days and 10 NHL games, which would make him eligible to be reactivated in December.

First they say neck guards are 100% guaranteed protection from neck injuries then next thing you know they’re saying you need to wear 3 or more neck guards just to somewhat reduce your chance of hospitalization from a neck injury.
Then they find out neck guards cause myocarditis, and Bettman flatly states that he "never made anyone wear neck guards", even though it became mandatory to wear them because of a rule he implemented; and you couldn't play anywhere in North America during the ban. And everyone in the neck guard funded media and politics made fun of you for being "anti-science" for making a personal decision for your own personal health based on actual logic and science.

Too soon?

Curious if Reaves is back in for this one, considering some of the things that went down last game against Chicago. He'll be back in at some point. Not that Perry would actually do anything other than flop all over the ice or do his tough guy act with 2 officials and 3 players between him and Reaves.
Perry won't be playing, which is apparently a management decision?

It sounds like either a trade which would be weird with Taylor Hall gone for the season, or maybe something a little more serious than breaking curfew. The Hawks were recently on a 5 game skid and didn't look real good doing it.

Trap game for the Buds

Line 3 looks interesting, some real speed there

Retrospective LTIR, December 12th is what I meant oops

Does Steeves get a shot?

Hawks will be running an even more sparse lineup then usual with Hall, Perry, Athanasiou, Blackwell, Tinordi.

yes please, fire Reaves into the sun, let Jarnkrok heal for a game or two, and try Steeves.
He is, I believe, a centre, but I guess they could either play him on wing or put Domi on wing?

The Perry thing sounds bizarre. Maybe he’s being punished for CB missing curfew. Im happy if he sits against us, but our luck will be that he is back in and more pesty than ever.

We should have signed that rascal years ago before he went to the G-dless Habs, and he does seem to want to remind us of it.

Hard to imagine a bigger trap game than today.

That rumor is pure BS.
Every player, every coach spend half the game starring at replays which right in front if them. No one in that arena didnt know what happened.
It took Gio a few games later to show leadership.

Not a lot of information. I hope he and his family are OK.
True there's not much info but the little there is says it's a team decision not a player decision.

Could be something minor like missed a curfew or late for practice and the team is making an example of him. Or who knows what else, theres some speculationout there but looks like pure speculation to me. Would be fun if he banged Bedards mom though.

It's been 84 years

Yup!

The Leafs should win both games this weekend. Chicago's roster is something to see.
Yes, they should beat both of these teams, however these are the types of games our Leafs love to take off.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Hawks lay a beating on our Leafs. I sure hope to NOT SEE our Leafs lay an egg this afternoon.
