Yea, respect that perspective, but I don't see it that way. I also enjoy the 'it's just bad goaltending' crowd.

I don't think anyone minds a loss... it really comes down to how you lose combined with who you are losing to. Like the loss Saturday was against a good team who played a hard physical game that broke our D down. Tonight was a complete mail in... I don't know if the players felt this was a big game, but their effort tells me they did... they are famous for shitting the bed in any big moment. Did they come out tentative? I mean, we all know they care and want to win, but the fact they cannot turn that desire into anything other than embarassing play is beyond me. yea, that is a bit of an overstatement, but is it really?

All the Leafs had to do to compete in this game was match Montreals effort. That's it. If you do that and you still lose, then shit happens, move on. But when you play like this, you have to take a step back and ask yourself what we have here? If I was doing a pretenders vs contenders poll right now, I would be hard on the pretenders vote.

But yea, it's just one game and the goaltending was the reason we lost.

No one is saying that have to fight or lay earth shattering hits. Can they actually finish their checks? That's would be a great place to start. I don't think I've ever in my life seen Nylander or Marner tie up a guy in a scrum. I'm not talking drop the gloves , or face washing anyone. I just me get in there and freaking hold someone.

JT is just a guy, he's just there I don't expect anything from him anymore, but man I wish he atleast had some back bone. Maybe the other 3 younger guys would have followed in his footsteps.

I don't know how anyone can look at these players and say they aren't soft. At least you aren't denying it and instead are saying other people should handle the "tough" aspect of the game (which is fair I guess). I just wish our stars weren't such push overs.

ahaha I’m young, only 27 years old. Born into it with my dad and grandpa But I don’t allow sports to dictate my mood or life. We literally have no control over the results. I just try my best to enjoy the ups and downs each season. Regardless of if we win or lose I know I’ll be back watching and supporting

Hey habs fan coming in peace first of all this game dont mean nothing we're the worst team in the league while you guys are one of the best im just coming here curious to see if habs made Anderson available would you guys be interested? I feel like hes always dominant against you guys like he loves playing against Toronto which makes me think he would actually love to play for you guys and not to bash ur team bcuz you guys are really talented but having a big fast power forward like him might help you guys

I know habs/leafs are suppose to be a big rivalry but i want the cup back at home in canada and we're wayy to far from getting one so i think Toronto is the closest team to get one with the right pick ups at deadline

I'm not mad lol, losing a tight game would piss me off i find these losses hilarious. What you're saying would sound reasonable 4 years ago, now it just sounds delusional when you've been proven wrong about this team every single year, in the exact way that people predict after losses like this.

Honestly, him and Dermott have been our best defensemen by far tonight. Sure he had a bad giveaway and penalty, but at least he looks like he knows what the **** he's doing most of the time.

Liljegren has been left out to dry unfortunately too.

Muzzin has been awful again. Rielly and Brodie are having another rough game.

Since 1984 truthfully. I watched hockey before that but wasn't a fan of a particular team... that all changed in '84. Totally random year, but that is when my pain started.

I guess that puts me in season 37; middle of the pack within this group I'd imagine.
