So then one of Simmonds/Spezza/Jumbo would have to come out I would think.. I'd like to think they wanna see the Wanye train in the playoffs as thats more his style of play?

71 - 34 - 16
12 - 91 - 88
11 - 15 - 65
97 - Nash - 19
I think Simmonds and Thornton should rotate. They looked great tonight for the first time in awhile but I feel like whoever is the most effective that particular game should play. They also have Robertson as an extra too.

After tonight. League leaders in Even Strength points.

1) McDavid 49
2) Matthews 45
3) Marner 43

PP woes have really killed their chances of Art Ross

God damnit. One of these years matthews is really gonna kill it on the pp and he will be taking all the hardware home.

People liked Holl at the beginning of the season, I'm sure most would say he hasn't been good lately.
He was fresh in the beginning and Keefe plays that pair a lot. He is tired I’m sure, but I think Keefe wants to see if he is capable of playing heavy minutes.
He will get some rest before po and should be good to go again.

I hear Campbell is taking Simmonds to Red Lobsters tomorrow.

Hyman-Nash-Mickey can be a pretty phenomenal shutdown line for the playoffs.
Yes, Hyman and Mikheyev are the ultimate shutdown wingers with their speed, size and awareness.

I go back and forth on Engvall as the 3 c. He's super fast and I've watched him completely shutdown McDavid. His speed and reach is unmatched and can completely shutdown players with that reach and speed but then he will make a complete bonehead give away pass.

Decent win, nice to breakout of the slump.. but let's be honest, this last stretch of games is almost meaningless until the playoffs.
