Decent win, nice to breakout of the slump.. but let's be honest, this last stretch of games is almost meaningless until the playoffs.
Yes and no......seeding may play a factor somewhere down the road.

Have we set the record, for having the most must wins in a season?Must win and we pulled it off.
Glad to see.
I might need cprYeah, I would even take a triple overtime in the 4-3 win...![]()
At this point it is based off the 5th and sixth place teams and games in hand.
I'd say 2-3 more wins and we are in.
There is something poetic about being done in many people's minds, then coming back and finding his form, leading us to a long run. I never understood dancing on his grave, it was always a reality we may still need him, anointing Jack based on not much was pure folly. Let's just hope someone takes the ball here, I almost don't care anymore, but Andersen is still the best bet.Going to be ironic for some of the Andy haters to have to cheer for him in the playoffs knowing he is the key to success. Hopefully Andy will serve them a nice helping of crow and they will enjoy chewing on it with a nice cold one.
I totally agree BrothaThere is something poetic about being done in many people's minds, then coming back and finding his form, leading us to a long run. How is that? Vancouver can win out and if we win once, Vancouver would have 71 points and we will have 65.One point and they clinch. (or any Van loss)
That was on Brodie, IMO.

Campbell season save percentage .919, career .917. Not Vezina numbers but pretty good. We arent going to get anyone better than that for a few years. If he plays to his avg. great if he ups his game a tad fantastic. There is something poetic about being done in many people's minds, then coming back and finding his form, leading us to a long run. Agreed. Brodie shouldn't have done it and rielly shouldn't be calling for passes like that when Engvall is standing right there. The
passes in to the middle have to stop. Just dump a puck first. They are all starting to do it now. I Wonder about their thinking when the pull that noise.
Brooks is no surprise if he was being watched coming and how he plays. It’s not a surprise to some.To me Brooks has seemed more engaged than Engvall and it's not even close.
I don't know much about the gap between the 2, but Brooks fit a lot better. He just didnt feel like he had the green light to shoot the puck and I hope he works on that confidence more. He was in prime shooting areas and made plays to get himself open and set up linemates but decided to pass the puck instead of shooting. If he cleans that up he might be a pleasant surprise.
There may be some impossibilities in there that I didn't look into. Such as if Vancouver plays the Habs someone is going to get only one point at most, so both teams can't win out. But it's all too time consuming for me to figure out. lol!Sorry you're correct.....my formula had Van at a .750 winning % as a best case for them
That's weird way to interpret those plays to me. When you have the puck with control your goal is to get open for an outlet, not glue yourself to an opponent to make sure they are covered. That's what makes turnovers so dangerous. On one play we had 3 Leafs on the boards vs 2 Jets, Copp who was along the boards beat all 3 of our guys to the net, that should never ever happen to a team of pro's. That is little league 101.
Muzz was in no mans land never really challenged the puck after he lost the puck, our guys in front of the net , 2 of them never took Schiffle, one of those guys should have tied up his stick

I agree with that. It was a bad pass but it wasn’t whipped and Rielly was expecting it and did not look sharp on that play. You kinda expect just a bit better. Too bad Brodie’s pass sucked tho.If you watch the replay Rielly actually starts skating up and calls for Brodie to pass to him. It wasn't an excellent pass from Brodie but imo Rielly (and most NHLers) still should have been able to receive it.
Like I said, Brodie put him in a tough spot, and to be fair to him he probably completely expects himself to make that pickup because most times he probably does. That said for me there is a lack of awareness on that play, even if he picks it up with him having to stretch out to receive it and Appleton coming at him fast he probably isn't in any position to make a play. The safe play is to know you're in a dangerous spot and just deflect the puck away and regroup.Blaming rielly for that in any way shape or form is silly.
Muzzin and Brodie both made brutal unforced errors leading directly to the goals. The guys left hung out to dry don't deserve any blame.
It happens.

For sure, good pass and it's a non issue.Appleton was coming off the bench, typically guys that do that are lost in coverage and go unnoticed.
That being said, Rielly if the pass was accurate, Rielly would have had enough time to make a play to get it out.
Just glad it wasn't a mistake that sunk the team. Got the lead back shortly after.
IIRC Andy had a higher SV% in last year's playoffs. No matter how good our goalie's perform if you can't score, you are not going to win.
