Game management at its finest
Every time the Leafs get up in a game, or score to start a comeback, the league steps in and calls bs penalties. And if a Leaf player doesn't commit one? They just make it up. Usually happens within 3-5 mins of the Leafs scoring.

US broadcasts are abhorrently amateurish. I’ve been watching a ton of Colorado and their announcers refer to “Mikko” and “Cale” like they’re doing a basketball game. It’s so painful. And on the Nashville broadcast the colour guy had to explain to the play by play that no it was Mackinnon who took the shot but yes Makar passed it to him when he messed up the call.

American broadcasting is so chatty and bad.
I normally agree a lot of the time, but I have actually liked this Vegas duo so far. :dunno:

MSG feeds are worth watching.

TNT looks fun too but moreso for the intermissions.

lol when he first joined the media was all like, he's not slow, he slows the game down.

The good old mario lemieux effect...... I know he takes a lot of flank
But he was a points per game player in new NHL after missing 3 years with a bad back ......... That's no joke

Clifford hasn't thrown a single hit on the forecheck yet, I'm not sure what his purpose is then.
That's one of the biggest reasons I prefer Ritchie to him. He does throw his body quite a bit. Clifford may end up with more fights in a year, but he isn't as aggressive with his body. Ritchie is also a much better offensive option. Clifford is probably the better defensive player, but he's just really safe, he doesn't try much.

Dude having a very bad stretch after coming back from time off
Even Spezza hasn't looked good after coming back

Maybe it has something to do with age and time off.
Last year it was “baby brain “.
What’s it going to be next year?
