1968 by some random music composer, not made for hockey. Whalers front office randomly came across it and ran with it mid-70's.I was referring to the Hartford song, I thought that was obvious, but around here you can’t take anything for granted…….

This is very old school, but it has(had) a local flavor, and kind of of fits the bill as an exuberant, celebratory thing. Started it at 0:38, when the chorus kicks in.

I know I bumped this thread but really didn't expect so much action from it lol.. I really just disliked that Hall and Oates song so much, and that's just a subjective musical taste thing, light pop music, ugh... and 5 years runway is enough to complain about it.
So that said, I'll take another 5 years with whatever before I bump a goal song thread again. I don't actually care that much.
My favourite one around the league is probably Chelsea Dagger in Chicago. I wonder if they still use it.

For a long time now I've wanted to suggest YYZ by RUSH. just the intro, its an instrumental so no lyrics to worry about. Plus its the code for Toronto's airport. (apparently the intro is morse code)
and of course RUSH is right from Toronto, local talented musicians.
If I heard the crown going crazy like this after every goal, I would simply run through a wall.
