Berube needs to figure out how to get this team to score more. It's ridiculous we've went from being a top 2 offence to this by only losing Tyler f***ing Bertuzzi

"Teaching them how to play defence" doesn't help when they suck at scoring goals and have in the playoffs for multiple years now

Should have found a way to get a point out of that game, 2nd and 3rd goal were gifted to them.

Nonexistent bottom 6 scoring continues to be the big story.

Dating back the past 10 games, I think Toronto has put together 1, 60 min game only.

I guess if you split up the lines to try to spread out the offence a little, you'd be at risk of jeopardizing that goal-a-game even strength juggernaut.

I was told we'd score a bunch tonight.

Would you say we'd score a plethora of goals?

Outworked for the first two periods.

Acceptable third but it's tough to win when chasing the game every night.

Last 10-15 games have been a mirage as Leafs goaltending has bailed them out higher than average.

Marner had a strong game, except for a couple of old bad habits. He had his wheels tonight.

Leafs are going to have to accept that they need secondary scoring and/or major tinkering with the lines. Same old story, near impossible to fulfill with top heavy contracts.

Someone not named Marner Matthews Nylander or Tavares really really really needs to chip in for this team.

And for the love of god stop playing around the outside between the point and the corner when you're trying to tie the game. It has been my experience that the puck needs to be moved in the direction of the net for a goal to be scored.

Goals 2 and 3 against were literally given away. Literally. Given. Away.
I guess, but we didn’t play any better than them, in my eyes to give a game away you had to be the better team like the devils to us

I can’t remember the last time we truly outplayed a team, and we haven’t been playing any good teams either

I thought they were excellent in the second until they quit on the last shift.

Disappointing. It's mind-blowing to me that this team, as it's constructed, has trouble scoring.

We can say offence is an issue but we're getting really good looks that were put in the back of the net in previous years. Idk how may times they got to try and go five hole when shooting before trying something different.

They could also step up

Excluding Marner, this is the worst season of nylander in the past 3, the worst since rookie Matthews, and Tavares is just back to being mid.

Those guys are keeping us out of the top 10 in scoring, the depth is keeping us out of the top 5
