Your first paragraph is just you using one game to suit your arguement. Not the way it works.
The Leafs D is not a problem. How many elimination losses with lack of goals do people need to see? Anyways hopefully Dubas adresses the actual issue this time
I know he is the one that has to do it but I’m not sure I trust Dubas to make such an important trade.

There are some hot f***ing takes in here. Step off of the ledge people.

It's a January game in the middle of the season against a shit team and our playoff opponent is set in stone.

They're not going to get up for every game.

You are right but Tampa is now 5 points behind with 3 games in hand and Matty is out for a min of 3 weeks. Doubt these guys have balls big enough to go into a game #7 and beat Vasi. On the positive side, it would be the end of the Dubas era.

I didn't say the goal scoring isn't a problem. And I've been watching the same mistakes from Holl for the past few years. I've been watching the lack of speed from Sandin be a problem since he came into the league. I've been watching Timmins flip muffins up the middle of the ice onto an opposition stick since he joined the team. I've been watching bad pinches by Rielly since Babcock took the restraints off him. The problem tonight was all those thongs were happening. The D looks good when there's only one or 2 guys making a couple of mistakes. But this D is exactly why the quicker botton feeding teams like Ottawa and Montreal. They feast on causing turnovers.

It's not just 1 game.

I am the danger.... I mean Keefe is the problem
He has always been
It's not really Keefe he had his balls chopped off

the problem is that executive lounge is too close to certain players

this is when I knew

I have never in almost 60 years of following the Leafs, seen a Leafs coach apologize for telling a player/team he/they played like crap and was soft. The only way this could have happened is if the GM oredered him to do so, because obviously a player must of went and whined to Kyle.

If the Leafs don't win it all then the new guy coming in will have to clean house and ike it or not, it starts with trading the biggest contract.

oh noes you crazy koho, we love that guy he can do no wrong, he's beautiful like a full moon!

Wait so the team D looks bad when everyone makes turnovers instead of just one or two? You just described every team. All teams would look bad if it happened to them.
Yes it's just one game.

Didn't see the game, a problem with the site I use. Questions: I read that Holmberg was going to play 2C, did he, and how did he look? Also, how much was the poor D (according to some here) a product of a bad night, or were the Fs less than supportive in the Zone?

Yes. That's exactly what I said. The thing is in the playoffs the forecheck and the speed of the opposition is going to expose this D. You're right it is 1 game. But you can see what the hungrier teams are doing. That is what this team is going to see every night in the playoffs. A hungry team. This team needs help up front and on the back end. I chose to comment on the D tonight.

Add it to the other recent 60 minute stinkers and it becomes a little more worrisome

The Rangers game was a bit of a snoozefest too. So hopefully they can get back on the right footing vs Washington and get their heads right and healthy over the All-Star Game pause.
