Just win.

Keefe tried to make them play playoff hockey... Big mistake, he should tell them "Play like it's the first game of the season, we are up 4:0 and you want to pad those stats !"

I was about saying dont play Tavares with Nylander ... but who cares. Try the same thing again Keefe it will probably work this time, if not shuffle lines lika a maniac in until all players are so confused they think they play curling for Calgary.

Win or lose lets see some good highlights. At this point I think the team is deserving of a check in for the last 5mins and watching the game highlights.

Got no time for a .500 team. +loser points

You gotta win this one for Tre and to stop the bleeding. Sucks being nervous about the team right now.
I kinda forgot about that angle. So you are saying this is a regular season game that has some sort of meeting to someone in the org... ewww. There is a chance they come out really slow and have to chase the game, or getf flatout embarrassed. Just based on these guys history. Hopefully not, but at this point I figure they are who they are.

Last game in Calgary for Gio?
Right! Forgot about that one too... I double down on my previous comment.

This is the sort of game where in previous years the boys would turn up. A few embarassments in a row always gets them fired up to salvage their own dignity. They've looked lost and scared the last few games, so after tonight we'll really know where they stand.

I think they'll come out hot and maybe even score in the first five minutes again, but then Kadri is going to get going and Huberdeau will score, and that will be it. This game has season defining implications.

In reality I may be wrong, but I feel like each time the team 'has got to win this one for ____' they come out completely flat lol
Well if we were to lose the next 2, we’d have to play better than one of the teams ahead of us for the rest of the season in order to make that end of season tourney. Maybe we’ll all be fishing and not just me.

Oh boy I know. Don't tell me leadership and who the captain is not mattering because the team seems to have a direct problem with motivation and inspiration to play to their best abilities. Look at how they were in scrimmage mode against Chicago and Columbus.

They need to have that MacKinnon mindset and step on teams throats or they will never get to the next level. Gio wants pasta? Screw him stick him in the press box.

I love how our signings by Brad have such a positive affect on this team.
Reaves, Bert, Domi, Klingberg, Samsonov, while our player development people and GM said we couldn't count on McMann, Holmberg, Jarnpkrok.
I will not be watching.

I don't think they are a "get embarrassed" kind of team. This will probably just be another game where they get a lead, make some defensive mistakes, and maybe hold the lead or maybe not. Teams seem to often break out of slumps by first losing an overtime game, so I'll say that this one will go to overtime and Calgary will win.
