nothing against Thornton, but it would be insane if he played tonight. He needs time off, and he should never play on back to back nights

The 1 game Nick Robertson played this season (when he got injured),

He played 1 period. Had 2 SOG, and, he was fast as hell, hustling on every play.
Also, he can PK.

Call this kid up now, Thornton needs to go to the taxi squad permanently.

Has Campbell been confirmed? Or we just think it's very likely he starts? I want to make sure he's starting before I put my bet through.

Can Spezza still go on the taxi squad without being waived? I don't remember specifics, but I thought he was only eligible for a certain amount of time after being waived the 1st time. 30 days?

I thought it was something like 10 games or 30 days. Spezza is way over that and Galchenyuk is getting close to 10 games.

No reason not to expect another win tonight.
I’m amazed at how bad the Flames are. Thought for sure they would be in the top 4.

Probably the worst string of words you could put together for a gameday thread if you believe in karma and being humble.

Leafs are gonna lose 9-3

Here let me help you figure out what sire means

A sire is an animal's father. A newborn foal might look very much like his sire, with a white stripe on his brown face. Every once in a while, the word sire is used for a human — your dad is your sire — but it's much more common to find this word describing an animal's male parent.

Have a good one,

Go Leafs Go!
Noun

sire (plural sires)
  1. A lord, master, or other person in authority, most commonly used vocatively: formerly in speaking to elders and superiors, later only when addressing a sovereign.

Come the playoffs I want Thornton on that bench. We had a skilled and dangerous team but it's young. We've lacked veteran leadership, I think it's sometimes overblown but at the same time we've blown how many elimination games now? Maybe someone like Thonrton helps settle things down.
Try as I may, I don't remember Thornton ever winning a Cup...
