20 teams were apparently interested in Barabanov and he chose Toronto. I think the brass are giving him a longer look than he probably deserves to keep up appearances in Russia that we are a good destination, you’ll get a chance. A bit of an overreaction. It’s not poor work ethic. They are working hard. Calgary is playing desperate and trying to come back. It happens to all teams. If you’re down two goals you are going to pick up the pace.

Nothing over the top about it. As badly as Toronto outplayed them in the 1st period, Calgary has simply dominated them in the 2nd.
