Id prefer to go with Hildeby. Give the kid a start against a shit team and don't risk injuring Jones.

Not only are goalies way less effective on the 2nd half of a back to back, but Imagine if Jones gets injured?

Id prefer not to give up assets just to acquire another mediocre backup

Hard not to go back to Jones if he’s up to it, perhaps they want him tomplay against his former team the Sharks?

Mr. Gudas, say hello to the HildeBeast……

I wouldn’t risk overworked Jones being injured on some stupid play from Vatrano or another overzealous idiot happy to be broadcasted in Canada. You know these Canadian players always wanting to show their best to The Six and all their relatives watching TV.

Overplay and injure Jones and were In deep ****

The next month is to important to risk him playing a b2b after a win last night

I agree I just don't see a better option when the other option is an AHL rookie.

Or do you want to start the guy who is mentally broken?

The Leafs need to add a goalie but that hasn't happened yet.

I’ll be more impressed with a win of any kind today vs yesterdays super complete performance

Should be a stat padding type game, but hope we can at least eek out a win, preferably in regulation

There are 0 reasons to put Jones in a back to back and risk an injury or have an off game when Hildeby is more than capable. It makes no sense. I hope Keefe doesn't do it.

If he struggles so be it.

Oh the terror of a rookie not being 100% NHL ready before he's ever stepped on the ice during a NHL game?

No, let's wait until he's proven himself a NHL player before putting him in the line-up.

:blah:

Time to start beating these bottom 5 teams on a regular basis.

I get every year that you will lose a game or 2 to struggling teams, but this sub to .500 record against them is brutal.
