I read this a few times, and I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not.I for one completely forgive them for their performance last night.
A healthy Leafs time utterly blasts this Florida team out of the water, not even close.
We have them right where we want themWouldn’t the Florida Panthers be sick too having eaten their lunch all week?
GTFO no one cares.
Are we at the point in 2025 where being a huge p***y is a diagnosable acute illness?
They weren't sick in Game 5 against Ottawa. They weren't sick against Montreal, or Columbus, or every !@#$ing Game 7 against Boston. They looked exactly the same last night as they did in Game 4 this series and all the other dogshit efforts they've put in over the years.
If somebody were to pass out on the ice I might care, but the disease on the team is between their ears and repeats in critical playoff games every year.
"I'm sorry Mr. Matthews, you have a bad case of the sucks. So bad as to be the worst case I've ever seen. It appears to be chronic and flares up every year in early May"
Mic drop. There is a limited number of opportunities to excuse failure. They've run out. If they truly have the flu in the room, that is unfortunate... add it to the long list of reasons as to why they aren't winners.
What a society we live in!My car is from 2008 and I go to work sick because I only have 3 paid sick days per year
It’s mid May. There’s no flu (other than, as others have said, the blue and white one). Certainly a bug sometimes goes through the locker room at the end of the regular season or beginning of the playoffs, but that’s late-March or early-April. This is mid-May. There is no “flu”.
I knew it! Covid25 is real after all.I hate to be the bearer of bad news.. but there is mostly certainly some sort of flu/virus/Covid stuff going around at the moment. I'm not suggesting that's an excuse for this team in the least, just correcting your assertion.
