Well, to be fair he's programmed like a go-to player... who isn't a go-to player anymore. There's going to be a selfish tendency there for any player of that status.

It should be bertuzzi but this coach…..
His shot is hard but lacks accuracy and purpose. Maybe his shooting technique is bad ?

They should get him to watch some Zach Hyman video and see if he can dumb down his net front tendencies a little bit and be more of a pure garbage goal man.
Good period IMO. Controlled the play, had a very strong edge on possession and quality chances. One defensive breakdown (poor communication/coverage by McCabe/Benoit letting Nico sneak up the middle), but other than that, I thought we played well. Should win the game if the teams play the 2nd and 3rd similarly.
Also, ppl blaming Woll for that goal are idiots, clean breakaway and a great move by Nico, in no way is that even remotely close to a bad goal.
I do agree that JT should be off PP1. He's still great on draws, and a solid netfront presence, but I think Bertuzzi is a bit better as a netfront presence, and that more than makes up for the difference between Matthews and JT on faceoffs.

Oh, I'd actually prefer Murray to both Woll and Jones. Or maybe it's Samsonov first, Woll as the normal pick, Murray as the higher potential darkhorse, and Jones on emergency basis only.
