Good win, Montreal is pretty good compared to most of the other Canadian teams we've played imo. I think in the canadian portion of playoffs they are gonna be tough to beat for any Canadian team.

Good win, could have gone either way, Andersen was great besides the 2 pretty soft goalies he let in.

Hyman deserves a lot of credit, he brings it every night and does all the dirty work. You can really see it in his +/- every year. Whichever centre he plays with ends up scoring at a great pace. Really need to start the extension talks now

We'll take it! Montreal out played us in the first, but I thought the final two periods were competitive.

Anderson was pretty solid after the first goal.

Tavares did some ugly things well tonight.

Matthews played a nice 200 ft game despite not doing much offensively.

Mikheyev's confidence is growing. He played well tonight and was badly due!

Holl was excellent tonight and Dermott was quietly solid.

Good win!

Jesus. Don't like skates near Ilyas wrists.

It was a good solid road win, not that there's any home or away factor at play these days.

Meh game. Both teams can play a lot better, I guess.

Except Price and his red pads. Thats just him, eh?

The shots were a bit misleading. Montreal had a few more chances but not many more quality ones. To add we actually had a higher expected goals at ev.

Not super clean game. But you have got to love how mentally strong the team is. ANOTHER close game we were able to close out.

Good game guys like I stated leafs 5 on 5 weren't great but 4 on 4 they dominated. Good thing the leafs big guns came out big. Saturday should be fun

I was told the Habs were going to run over us physically...:badidea:

Hits even 19-19.

Liking the Leafs starting to win low event games.

I listened to the radio broadcast in the 3rd and their sentiment was mine.

Although the Leafs were outshot, besides the first 7 mins of the game, it felt like they were in control.

Montreal's aggressive forecheck was non existent, and they made short smart passes to exit the zone.

Glad to get the win but still a little concerned by their play, Montreal controlled the majority of the shots and chances in that game just like Vancouver did Monday. It's awesome that they're winning these games but these last 2 aren't sustainable paths to success.
