He plays in a era now that only a few teams have players like him in the league .. thus making his myth larger than it would be when all teams had A TW

Respectfully, he would still be respected because of his ability to play on top lines. Yes there were many TW's but they were mostly plugs. If there were that many TW's out there, they'd all be employed on NHL teams.
