For the team in white yes. The Caps clearly want this game more as they don't want to face Florida in round one.

They did that shift, the one before the caps looked thr same as we did there only with some blatant hooks because they didn't care enough to skate.

this is very concerning going into the playoffs. reminds me of that season when matthews came back and lost a lot of his game and became more of a pure sniper, later revealed to be due to ongoing injury.

Abruzzese shouldn’t be up and his confidence level doesn’t really matter right now. Plenty of real development time over the next 2-3 years for him to be a player.

It's bad enough listening to the fan 590, which is basically sports betting radio at this point, but now they're doing it on tv too.

My worry with the big betting business so ingrained with hockey is the potential of it influncing reffing. It might sound like a far fetched concept, but let's not Tim Donaghy of the NBA.

I can't imagine such temptations would DECREASE in todays sport betting heavy NHL. Maybe even sites leaning on refs, who knows?

Good teams dial it up. So that the transition between Game 82 and Game 1 isn’t going from 0 to 10. The Leafs seem to be shutting the mill and load managing right when they need to rev it up. Organization doesn’t get it.
