This rule is so f***ing dumb - calling offsides is a rare thing refs are actually very consistent at, when they're wrong it's always close. It all "comes out in the wash" eventually (similar number of goals called back for and against us), but it's just an excitement lowering rule that always feels dumb when it's applied. The solution is way worse than the problem ever was, goals called back way after the zone entry for such dumb reasons.

IMO they should either ditch the rule, or add a time limit, like "goal can only be called back if the goal was scored within X seconds of the offside zone entry," where X should be pretty quick, like 3 or 5 seconds or some such thing.

Love the puck movement before the called-back goal though, Matthews/Domi chemistry especially was electric.
