Panasonic was a great plasma. I had a top of the line samsung plasma that was cracked ( don't ask).
Broke my heart and I refused to buy a TV that was anywhere near that value until they could come up with a comparable picture when they discontinued them.

I have a plasma. Still going strong after ten years.
