We are getting dominated. Everyone looks tired or just not into the game
Rod won’t do it but I wonder if backing off our style of play periodically is the appropriate pathway.

Team doesn’t seem to be able to handle 82 games (last year we got the wall earlier), let alone another 16-28 more.

Or it could be quite simply that our roster is just not good enough for open play; thus, the defensive approach (we do have great d men too).

I thought we could sustain our level of play and be fine with our current roster but you play Rangers and now Leafs and our forwards don’t match up-scoring wise. Doesn’t bode well for us.

Having said that, they can turn around and get hot-let’s hope for that come playoffs.

Rosters just not good enough with the injuries right now

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Jesus you guys its 2-2 after a complete shit period.

Things I have read in this GDT that I just don't understand.

1. Maybe they will win a playoffs series this year! Really? They have won a series every year they have made the playoffs.

2. We just don't match up with their scoring! Um its 2-2 so yes we do.

Damn guys I'm a Browns fan and their forum are more in support of that flat out shit team then these boards are of a proven winner.

Get your shit together!

Pretty sure that one was in reference to the Leafs. Who haven't won a playoff series since 2004.

Have I mentioned the Leafs haven't won a playoff series since 2004? Because they haven't won a playoff series since 2004.

While I kind of agree with what you're saying and getting at, it'll be interesting to see if they can finally win a playoff round this year.
I think if they can ever get that first round monkey off their back they’ll be a threat to win the whole damn thing.

Getting ROR back is what I think will help them over the top this season, he’s the 200ft type of player they’ve needed. Matthews, Tavares, ROR is insane center depth.

What's scary is this year is looking likely to be the year, and frankly, if they get that monkey off their back, I can easily see them going far.

Personally, I suspect if they win round 1 they burn out doing it, with the emotional high coming from winning a round and a major letdown in round 2.
