Matthews needs to be either called out or have his lines changed up. His contract has been signed and we can't change it. Give him players he works with so he can be able to live up to his deal. Right now he is always the 2nd best center on the ice.

Because, again, we have the talent to be considerably better. I'm not convinced turning out efforts like we've been all season is conducive to long term or playoff success.

The fact that we're only 1 point up on Montreal (granted, with 2 games in hand) is, while commendable for them, a massive indictment on us. We should be closer to Tampa than we are to Montreal.

I get what your saying, hockey is game of bounces though. We’re going to have to wait till playoffs to see if this team is competent enough, cheers !
