Put Lilly with Rielly and let Sandin babysit Timmins. Rielly is not good enough defensively to carry a pairing with Timmins.

I don't know for how long they did it for, but they did try that pairing and not sure it was great or not, maybe just OK. I'm not sure there's any player the Leafs could put with Rielly that could compensate for his average defense. Ultimately it has to be up to Rielly to improve and not be a negative when he's on the ice.
