He can play center as a RH guy, but I think he is a winger.

He was one of the top guys in Europe (PPG player in the NLA the past two years since leaving), outplayed really good NHLers in the Worlds, and was really good in the Olympics despite not putting up a ton of points.

He brings speed and he can handle the puck well while making plays. He had that before he left.

What he brings now is an improved his shot and a stronger body. He plays a tenacious, high energy style without throwing a ton of hits like a Kase and Robertson, so having that better shot and stronger body helps him. He is also a little bit better in his own end than he was before as well.

I don't think he is going to get a guaranteed spot, but he is someone who can play in the NHL.

Leafs should go with two hard checking lines to compliment their two scoring lines. Depth never hurts, but, I can't see how they don't move a body or two, even if it means a decent prospect.

I think if he can’t grab a spot this year then it’s a very big concern.

The bottom six has him, Engvall, Kampf, Aube Kubel and really just needs to be a defensively smart guy who’s tough to play against, but I’m sure the moves aren’t done.

The 23 y/o marchement was not the same thing than the same guy at 27 like malgin at 25-26 is not the same malgin at 22-23
