Pretty bad, right? Well, that's just because you haven't seen this:

That's right my friends, it has taken the Leafs just 39 total minutes to surrender the only six one-goal leads they have earned in 14 games.

What’s funny is the Leafs typically get hosed against American teams by the refs, but in this series they’re getting calls since it’s another Canadian team - one that the league doesn’t care about.

The league wants them in the next round for the ratings and will screw them over against the Florida team. They’re finally getting the calls we always asked for and they’re still not able to finish off the Sens.

Bad game tonight, but if I had to bet I'm still betting on the Leafs to win the series.

Now, if Florida wraps things up early and gets a few extra days rest, its not looking good for the next series.

With that said, Unless something changes in a big way with Matthews, I think we have enough evidence, at least I do, to not put him in the same conversation with the other elite players in the league anymore. It just seems very rare that he steps up in big games.

It doesn't even matter at this point, even if they win they're going to get pummeled by Florida. If by some miracle they got a series lead against Florida they aren't going to have a 3 game cushion to get it right.

At least if Ottawa comes back form 0-3 they'll probably give Florida a challenge in round 2. Sucks for Leaf fans but good for hockey fans to get a competitive round 2.

I don't get it when they have comments like that.

They generated very little in a game they were trailing. Had a PP that did nothing. They didn't dig in, they didn't generate any luck... they just skated around a bit and gave up a shorty.

We will win this series. I don't have doubts about that. My doubts come from the lack of showing up consistently, or in the big moments. This team just proves to me they have no chance of winning a cup.

We'll probably win the series, but that's about it. And that doesn't matter. WE WANT THE STANLEY CUP AND THIS TEAM CANNOT DELIVER THAT.
