This is some next level failure.

It should've been game 7 vs the Habs, but Nylander scored a goal during garbage time

But scoring very little in a series clinching game is almost a guarantee with this group

We're at the point where people need to stop putting AM in the same category as guys like Drai, Mack, Kucherov. Those players have shown multiple times that they're capable of being great in the playoffs or dominating a series.

Stopped doing that years ago. He’s literally never had a good series in his life.

I am most disappointed for the fans who payed 1000 bucks for that.

A real chance to clinch at home wasted.

I guess they could go the Canucks route, up 3-0, tied 3-3, OT win Game 7, run to the finals to get blown out in Game 7.

There is nothing good to say except the 4th line I thought was pretty good

Yeah - I don't know what the scorecard will say but I though Jarnkrok was our best player.. 4th line our best line. Knies was the exception to the other lines sucking.

I am not changing the goaltender.. that';s not it, do not let the forwards off the hook.


My biggest takeaway is that Ottawa really honed in on what was leaking on the PK. They have been much better on faceoffs, number 1.

They are playing a tight diamond and "sagging" the diamond. That pretty much neuters us as we have no one time shot threats anywhere. So the backdoor play is there but now needs to be perfect as they are paying more attention. Bumper is almost gone unless it's bang bang. That is the single biggest difference in this series.

I'm done watching this round. I'll be honest, they made me believe for three whole games this year which is more than I thought they would, but it's still the same team. Oh well, they're welcome to prove me wrong and I'll watch round 2, but I think we all know exactly where this is going.
