No one’s asking for it to be perfect, but when blatant penalties like that happen against us and the refs just ignore it only to call a lousy push by McCabe on Rantanen and whatever other weak calls got them to a 5-1 advantage, while also ignoring the obvious trip on Domi and several others it just makes you wonder. Like if it was just a few times this happened it’s like whatever but this has been a common theme for the past few years now. When was the las time we got 5-1 powerplays while the ref ignored blatant penalties we should’ve had? Doesn’t really happen.

There's some supposed info about it on Reddit. Supposedly, the guy tried to get out of the VIP exit area and was denied, mouthed off, then they went for him.
That is what I read too. The sad thing is apparently the kid in the background in the blue is his child, imagine what this has done to him

I'll meet you in the middle here. As much as I can complain about the league and reffing, our top guys will consistently not kick in the extra gear when the opposing team plays like a cup contender. They're so timid. And I can't help but think Tavares's play style set that timid attribute to our young star players throughout these years. No balls

They have more than earned the benefit of the doubt for a few bad games. The Leafs haven’t. Not even close.
And by the way, just to humor you and play your trolling game, what does that say about the Leafs that blew a 3-0 lead and lost in regulation to the team that blew a 4-0 lead to the Coyotes?

That Willy-JT-Bert line was so so bad. Easily their worst game together. Happy JT and Bert finally got benched. Nylander probably could have been benched too, but I get throwing him out there when you're trying to win a game.
Willy looks just about as good on the PK as Marner does to me. More of a threat to do something offensively as well.

Any accountability for the refs? Call after call on the Leafs let go because they were leading but if someone got close enough to an Avs player to take the puck, immediate penalty against the Leafs
There’s no way you bench Willy he’s your second best forward n This game was his best game without the pucc in recent memory for sure he was a hound you could tell he wanted this game I’m sure the coach woulda juggled the lines but 3 rd line was our best he didn’t want it to touch it 4th line was good and knies Bert and ernie were roughin it today so he just put them three on a line and benched them

Wille was kinda shit too, the team stopped playing after the 1st. I'm not sure I can pick out one player that deserves a pat on the back for playing well.

I wasn't right about the OT loss, but to be honest, I'm not really surprised and feel like my prediction was basically right - we lost despite making the prediction in 1st period and we were up 3-0.
Ya what if he was caught in the girls bathroom peeping on your daughter? What he was going after your mom. What if he had a weapon and was a threat to everyone there.
