Damn that was a great game. Murray with a stellar bounce back effort.

Marner's streak continues .. Matthews' scores. The PK was outstanding .. Stop Robertson's point streak .. Lily and Sandin with statement games wow.

Timmins looked good too, I really like his game!

That 5 on 3 was played so well.

The Timmins acquisition is very suave. If we can keep him healthy he could be a dark horse for our blue line.

MAtt murray deserves a tonne of credit.

And many pundits will say he stole the game - and maybe he did but considering the patchwork defense, the injury to mete and jarkrok in the top 6 - the leafs played a solid game beyond that first period.

The big guns did what they were paid to do. Our goalie goalie'd and our swedish duo channeled their inner borje.

Well deserved shutout. Beauty job by Murray. He was the story tonight.

Love the D blocking all those shots especially on the penalty kill.

They locked it down in the 3rd. They didn't give many good chances in the end.

Big boys had some timely goals.

Great to see Murray respond to a weak outing against Tampa with an elite performance tonight. That's some impressive mental toughness

You thought his last game was weak? The last goal was but overall I thought he was good. Tonight was elite for sure, though.

Timmins started off sloppy (seems he needed his skates sharpened) but really settled in during the 2nd half of the game.

I'd like to see more of him to see if we have something there.

Murray was amazing tonight. Great team effort overall.

Nice first game by Timmins. You can see some potential there.

SDA not so much. He’s just not ready.

Engvall, you gotta be better.

Gio, Holl and in particular Sandin and Lilly, great games.

Marner great game in both ends. Matthews, Tavares, Nylander great games too. Even Robertson played well, he just needs some shooting confidence.

Best effort this year. Holl and Engvall tried their best to destroy Murray’s shutout but Murr didn’t break!
