Dude is a double edeged sword. Liked him for the Minnesota Wild back half of the year but for every good offensive play he makes he will make 3 or 4 defensive lapses. IF and that is a big if you can reign him in a little he could be ok, but at this point he kind of is what he is. Literally...

You're forgetting something. He still needs to get us under the cap. That's either going to be trading Nylander or trading Brodie. If we trade Brodie, there's a good chance that our defense will be worse going into this season It could simply be by trading Jarnkrok.

No joke, my favorite season was the shortened 2013 season. It looked like every team was fueled by crack cocaine. If the league had any respect for the players they should be actively looking to shorten the season, not elongate it.

I was a bit worried that he was gonna struggle with no pp opportunities, but if he can even give us 50ish points and improve his defence to above average I think that will be perfect. Klingberg has be given the keys to PP1 so I’m expecting 50+ points there too

Funny how so many cried that we 'overpaid' him 500K or whatever (on a one year deal no less...) and that he was the worst dman in the league last year or whatever BS.

Looks like a damn good signing to me and fills a major need.
