ADA isn’t getting the benefit of the doubt. Ever. With anyone. It’s pretty poor. I hope Quinn is sticking up for him. It’s an opportunity for Quinn to actually really bond with and develop ADA actually. Adversity can be a great ally.

It doesn’t seem like he ever gets the benefit of the doubt, but that’s partially his fault. Still unfair, but it is what it is.

It’s doubly frustrating because Toronto’s coach is well-known for pushing the envelope. And the refs just say, “thank you, sir,” as he continues to urinate on them.

So, the b2b's didnt translate for Carolina in so much as "thus far" tonight's game with Toronto.

Will Toronto turn it on all of a sudden, as they know the Rangers are inferior to them?
Or......is it that the ceremony really screwed us up?

I'm not a habitual complainer but if you're going to call soft marginal penalties, don't forget to look at both teams.

Orr played his last game in 1979 and could last physically move in 1975. Unless you're well into your 60's, I doubt you remember him clearly enough to make a definitive conclusion.

I saw both in their prime (albeit, I was right before my teens seeing Orr). Oh, but I do remember him clearly...and I certainly remember him being the reason we didn't win the Cup in 72 (him, and Ratelle being hurt). There's never been a player like him since.
I'm a big fan of #99, and he was amazing....but in my opinion, he is second to Orr.

I hope these biases get wiped off the books when the season ends. I can actually appreciate the refs understanding “the book” on a player or a coach or a team, even. But that has to get etch-a-sketched when the season ends. If not sooner. Guys need to get a reasonably fair shake. I mean, if Tom Wilson can get calls then ADA certainly deserves it.
