GDT: Leafs at Pitts 7:00pm CBC/SNO Sat, Oct 23rd

Muzzin, holl, dermott, Kampf, kase, simmonds, Engvall, kerfoot shouldnt be in the nhl. 8 useless players is drastic in determining the success on the team not mentioning "core" guys who aren't pulling their weight as well
 
It's only 5 games. Settle down.

But no, we do not look good, I'd rather adversity early than late. We can come back as a team and kill this season.

Do not jump on Campbell he has played amazing this season, last season, last post season, up until tonight. You cannot hate a player for one game.

The top 6 though. YIKES. Again only 5 games, they will start going in.

No doubt in my mind we make the playoffs, I think we win a round or two, but so far I am not seeing a stanley cup team, we do miss Hyman, as much as we don't want to admit it.

Rielly for a 1st + B prospect
Muzzin for a late first + mid round pick.
Holl for a 2nd.

Play Dermott, Sandin, Liljegren, and Krol.

Kerfoot for a 2nd, and then try and trade Marner.

Retool around Mathews, Nylander, and Tavares and trade them if the timeline doesn't go fast enough.

Now you you doubters believe? It is NOT pessimism - it's just that the reality is so horrific that discussing it always comes across as negative.
 
All Pens goals are guys driving to the net or even the first one-that player was in front of the net. Leafs players need to keep the game simple.

This game says it all.

Winning in the NHL is all about hard work.

You can have 3 Mcdavids and nothing happens if the team doesn't put in the necessary effort. This Leafs team is a complete disgrace when it comes to trying.

It's true.

But I'd just like to point out that the "bad" goals against Hutch yesterday were also deflected. But it seemed nobody pointed that out...
