This kerfoot Thornton Spezza line does nothing for me. I know it’s going to change but still

Thornton has completely lost everything ever since that injury. He was never a great skater but he still made smart plays. He's not even doing that anymore.

It's a two player line right now. Play dies as soon as it gets on Thornton's stick.

He's almost certainly the guy coming out once Foligno gets here at least. Thornton is the worst LW on the team and Foligno is a LW so...

Yeah we never get Leaf games on TSN out here in the west unless we're playing Calgary or Edmonton. I can't remember the last time I didn't see a game between us and the scabs.

Anderson is a right hand shot and it isn't a clear 2on1 with hard back pressure.. It's the most obvious play for Rielly to slide aggressively at him and take away pass/shot.
Instead Rielly decides to turn to face him and passively put his stick lateral to the ice and let Anderson rip a shot.
Campbell should make that save most of the time but I'm sure Rielly passive play threw him off.
