This Slaf sequence was a good indication that hes not ready
Very obviously.

I would argue that his two breakaways, his goal, the grade A chance he set up for Newhook and Anderson, his board play. The fact that he has the most offensive highlights of the team during the preseason is a strong testament into his not NHL readyness imo.

All good argument for a demotion, on par with what we saw from Maillet and Andersson.

Oh hey, at least he was better than Armia.

It’s 💯 clear that the strategy in playing habs this year is to be physical with all the young top guys especially Dach and Slafkovsky. How the habs address this will be important. They can’t have Arber dealing with this up front and I don’t think Anderson will do it. It’s going to be an issue imo

Heineman is lucky he didn't get called for interference, but someone needs to have a talk with Slaf and a serious consideration to send him down.
