It's not at all. It's the Leafs boxing teams out and giving them lots of shots that ultimately produce very little. It looks a bit like Trotz's Islanders, who played a similar game with equally middle of the road goalies. I appreciate people think it's the goalies, but the structure of this team is night and day different than it was under Keefe.

That is Berube's game plan, it works some nights but one would be hard pressed to say this is a defensive masterclass. Peppered with shots inside the house, 2nd and 3rd whacks. It's not one and done, that is when these types of systems really are working.
