Cheering for the Sens makes me want to puke, but it must be done. Heres to hoping that the Sens and Leafs beat the hell out of each other in a grueling 7 game series, and the bruised up Sens get steamrolled in the second round.

Montreal can definitely beat Washington. They rely quite heavily on players with little play-off experience.

Carlson and Ovie may show proper leadership though.

Have a feeling that this is Toronto's year. They have a decent defense and Berube have them playing sensible hockey, finally.

The west feels predictable, this years Avs and team is so loaded while Dallas and Edmonton has has a few key injuries.

Predicting a Toronto vs Colorado final.

Colorado wins in 5.

WSH feels like an early exit to me. Either 1st or 2nd round.

I think Ottawa will put a scare into Tor but ultimately lose.

Weird that LA and EDM meet in the 1st round for the 4th time in a row. Not sure what the record for most meetings in the same round is in the 16 team format, but this has to be among the most.

It's been a while since I've cared about the playoffs some I may be a little fuzzy on how it works, but is there a way both teams can lose the series and turn into a pile of dust??

Because that's what I'd like to happen in the Leafs-Sens series and Lightning-Panthers series.

I have a feeling Dallas is gonna be an early exit...7 straight losses to end the reg season, Robertson out for the 1st round, Heiskanen out, a rusty Seguin, and a Benn that appears to be on the back end of his career.
Rantenen has to be the best player in the series for them to have a chance.

When TNT breaks the sticks out and tries to explain plays, just goofy to me.

This is what happens when execs that know nothing about hockey dictate how hockey coverage will be handled. It is just like when TBS execs tried to dictate what happened on WCW. They knew nothing about professional wrestling and the folks at TNT are clueless about hockey.

Sea of white in Winnipeg. Sea of green in Dallas. We need to get playoffs again. The games are all that much better when it is your team in the mix. Given the era I grew up in, it is wild to think that there is a generation of fans alive right now that never saw the Wings as a good team.

To be fair , WCW management did not know much about wrestling either.
