They have 0 chemistry and are complete garbage.

Matthews is just invisible
Knies gets neutered (legally or illegally) anytime he does anything

2-4th lines have at least had ozone time (low bar but still), they've spent shifts in the ozone, 1st line has spent most of the game in their end or the neutral zone trying to get the zone.

That said, Leafs are boxing out well and Woll has been great, though the first goal was suspect it was sent quickly and perhaps unexpectedly as the faceoff was even more suspect

If this were the Keefe Leafs, this game would be over already. Part of it is better goaltending, but a big part of it is a team structure that usually ensures that the game is never out of reach. It can be frustrating to watch, but it is effective.

If the Leafs wanted to send a statement with tonight's game, so far it's "We don't want anything to do with the Panthers in the playoffs."

The Matthews line in particular has been brutal, like "game 7 of a playoff series" bad.

And this team has to learn that spending an entire shift cycling the puck in the offensive zone in a tied game is useless unless you at least try to take a shot at the net.
