Why can’t NHL games be broadcast with a higher frame rate?

The blurring of the text on the boards bothers my eyes, gives me a headache.

Washington DC

arena is in a poor neighborhood X high murder/crime rate = not a recipe for safety

and they need to get the tourists and rich folk out of there

I've got multiple TSNs, multiple sportsnets, and I pay for NHL center ice. And yet, I can't get tonight's game anywhere. Why is this and what network should I make sure I have so that I can get this game? Or am I just screwed?

I have one of these nights about four or five times every season and I can never understand why. There's no rhyme or reason to it. The next time the leafs play Washington on a Monday night I will get the game. I just wish I had some understanding of why this particular one is blacked out in Saskatchewan.
