Nah this is just who he is and has always been on a fundamental level. Sometimes his gambles work and we pretend to ignore this side of his game, when he's rusty they don't work and we see him for what he is defensively without the rose colored glasses of his offense.

IMO Dubas has to make a move. The team is good but not good enough to win on their own. They need a big acquisition to come in and help bolster the line up.

I think ROR has to be the guy and then you hope he’s willing to take $5/5.5 mill to stay and you let Kerfoot and Engvall walk and bring in ELC’s to replace them.

In a perfect,.imaginary world I would be looking to add ROR,.Luke Schenn and Bertuzzi.

Dubas has done very well filling in the right, value players. It is going to take some heavy lifting to build a team of Gamers willing to fight through it.

I expect them to perform as expected in all moments. Their lack of killer instinct is exactly what has plagued them in the playoffs for a number of years. It continues to exist.
