We have done so much right over the past several years only to get screwed by bad breaks, bad calls, and not getting a save when we needed it.
We got all of that tonight. Matthews stepping up, Samsonov providing the save, and JT with the silly fluke goal off the skate to win it.
I think we may have out hit Tampa or close to it over the course of the series (shout-out to Schenn and McCabe), Knies has been a sensation, and we were actually getting it on net instead of trying to force things.
The one thing that needs to be fixed is the breakouts. Fix those and we're in really good shape (giving Liljegren more ice time would be a start), no matter who we play.
Also, I just want to say this one more time for posterity sake, and then we can FINALLY forget that it ever happened: f*** JEREMY ROENICK.
