We were skating hard and playing with good physicality.

Spezza and Matthews huge games.
Mikheyev was buzzing all over the ice but still snakebitten.

If we play this hard and fast every night, we're a great team.

I don't know about all the boxes. The goalie stands there clueless while a goal is almost banked in off his skates from the corner. And then the shortside goal. The rest of his game wasn't pretty either. Better than the nucks goalie though.

Happy for Spezza. I really like him. Still can't believe he was waived.

A bit leaky defensively early but took over as the game went on and exposed the Canucks awful D. Good game. Did not play down to their level.

Spezza providing some vintage Spezza goals, what year is it??

Marner and Matthews were great.. thought JT and Nylander were good.

Lot of positives all around. The third line was meh and I thought Andy looked shaky but the offence bailed him out tonight in a big way.

Oh and the refs continue to work against the Leafs lol

No excuses for not winning the next two either. Well done Leafs.

I really appreciate Keefes coaching in which he moves bodies in and out of the lineup and today paired up different D-Men and forward lines.

This keeps players fresh, competitive and motivated.

Anyway great game. Would of been good to keep it at 1 or 2 goals but its a w with plenty of goals and Simmonds threw down.
