Mathews leads the league in shots, I’d say he is getting the puck and Marner is the one giving it to him most of the time. Not Marner’s fault Matty is shooting less than 10% how is that shooting driving his points?

If you are just going by points, then leading into the game, Marner has been the best player this year...

I'm going by whose driving the points.

Marner fans are the ones focused on points.

- Nylander rocketed the goal top cheddar and was in the slot. Beautiful goal.

- Nylander with the beautiful behind the back pass to Reilly whose all alone in slot.

- Patches/Tavares beautiful work down low and in front of the net for goals.

- Marner.... Knies sets him up in a prime shooting position, Marners shot is blocked. Matthews and Knies in the dirty area clean up the mess.

Waiting for Marner to score goal #2 on the year. Or set up his linemates cleanly 5v5...instead of these blocked shot assists, dump pucked assists and clearing the puck assists.

You're mentioning Nylander a lot where other players were the drivers, but it is okay, I know you hate Marner, so you must hate that he is leading the team in points.

I've noticed a pattern in the NHL and in particular when the Leafs play. When they go up by a large margin, the other team turns into a whole squad of Lady Byng finalists. I could be wrong though.
