Won't talk about the game outcome, but I think the boo's on Phaneuf indeed affected his game. At least for first 2 periods I think.

Nope. He's grand.

Fun Fact: 100% of Pavelec's goals weren't his fault. :sarcasm:

we lost this game in a minute.

In general, they didn't play good, but neither did the leafs. I'd say most of the game as badly as the jets played, they outplayed the leafs until that last 10-15 minutes in the third.

Poni penalty was brutal.

one bright spot: Zach Redmond. Jesus is he proving to be a player.

This team is frustrating, no one looks amazing. The chemistry that Wheeler and Kane had last year seems to have disappeared. It's like what was said above, we are in the other team's zone alot but never look dangerous.

I think with Pavs, he doesn't sit well. Even when he's playing good hockey and you sit him he doesn't respond well. It's not that he gets upset or anything, he just needs to play. Unless he looks tired you just keep playing him. He has the talent, it's in his/the teams/our head right now.

I think Burmi has been our best forward so far. The points haven't been coming but I see him doing so many good things.

I want to see someone shoot the puck and us actually crash the net hard.

I'm pretty frustrated want to stay rational. There's no point in getting all hysterical.

I like Claude Noel as a person but if his idea of powerplay is to predictably feed the puck back to the D every time...I want him out of that coaching position.

Its not him necessarily. Its Pearn and that other coach in charge of the PP

Give in to hysteria. It cleanses the soul. Scientifically it's proven that you are healthier if you don't bottle up your emotions!

Great job Stuart and Poni ... this is not a football game. Stuart has not learned from his dumb penalties.

I don't think Pavelec is to be blamed for this game, but even with Atlanta I didn't like him as a starter. I see him more as a backup type guy. I suppose I been a bit spoiled as a Moose season ticket holder watching who I feel are better goaltenders, Schneider and Lack. Yes, I get that Lack has undergone hip surgery and may never be the same and Schneider hasn't been his usual dominate self, but goaltending is an issue, even if it wasn't the major factor tonight. And yes, when your two goal scorers are a recent call up and a depth dman who was waived by the worst team in the league, something is worrisome there.

I won't ever jump ship. Been a long time supporter of my Winnipeg teams. Aside from a few Moose runs I got to see in person, I like to experience good times. I believe we'll be rewarded one day, but that day can't come soon enough.

It was not Pavelec's fault that they lost the game.

The Jets just choked in the last 5 minutes by playing on the lead & taking a stupid penalty.

People need to stop defending Pavelec in this game. If the better team loses, it's usually because of goaltending. Sure, 2 of the goals weren't "soft goals" but we need a big save now and again, and Pavelec is not doing that this year. I think he has a 0% save percentage on breakaways and shootouts. It is ******* horrible. I used to be a believer in Pavelec, but I have lost confidence in him with this game. I hope the coaching staff does too and sits him in favour of Montoya/Dekanich/Pasquale.

Also, this game could have been tied 3 - 3 if one of those post shots when in the in the first period. We deserved at least one goal in that period, especially since the refs were screwing over the Leafs royally.

Ladd was invisible tonight. Not sure if he tipped the Clitsome goal or not, but it was still a mediocre performance.

Little was our best forward and Burmistrov was a close second. I think Ladd should move off this line in favour of Kane so we can get him going.

Enstrom was extremely shaky this game. Not a bad game by any means, but not very confident with the puck and passing. Stuart also have a fairly poor game in the 3rd but was very good in the first 2.

This loss is going to hurt for a while. My confidence in this team is broken. I hope we really show up next game and dominate or this could be a long season.

Can someone make me an avatar of Pavs wearing beer goggles?

Also; Noel isn't responsible for PK/PP plays.

That's a somewhat half truth... almost reaching truth. I love Noel and was rooting him to get the Jets coaching job, but he does the hiring of his coaches. Being the captain of our ship, I do blame him to a degree for the PK/PP.
