Soooo.....it appears installing sidestep bars in -13 weather is a touch hard on the fingers! I think the last time I felt the pain of freezing coming out of my fingers was when I was a kid playing pond hockey for 6 - 8 hours.

Not its not. That would be you having a non biased opinion. I can't really comment on their prospect pool though. Haven't checked it out in a while.

Soooo, LL. If this lockout gets resolved and the cap hit goes down by 5-10 million in the real NHL, should the cap hit go down in our keeper league as well?

*Terry goes and checks his caps space.........

Result: 45 million in cap space*

Open for cap dumps. :D

I don't think so tbh. We drafted on the basis that the cap was more, we'll see how it goes

Last time I checked, i was close to the cap. :(

the lockout is really screwing with my team considering I have probably one of the oldest teams.

Keep the cap the same since those were the conditions we drafted with and then we can possibly make adjustments in the next offseason.

We're not dealing with any revenue sharing issues :P

Jeff o'neill says lockout is done. Hebetterhave some inside scoop because if he doesn't I know where his parents live :sarcasm:

Brett Hedican said the same thing, but then said nothing official

Oh boy I hope so.

O'Neill always posts random **** though so I'm taking it with a grain of salt. But I have a signed jersey of his because my aunt and uncle lived right beside his parents and they bought me his jersey (a WHILE ago) that he signed

I half want Bettman to come out and say that he is extremely disappointed and that he will be cancelling the season in the upcoming days. DO IT BETTMAN.

I hope not, if it means we get a top 6ish pick then sure lol.

I hope we just tank anyways, would be nice to make the playoffs, but then your going to hear people saying "Leafzz only make playoffz when the seasonz is halved, lawlz"

Here's something interesting I thought of during this lockout: variable sized nets.

Generally, a net is 6' x 4'. What I thought was,"why not have this sized net for goalies who are 6' only? For smaller goalies, like 5'6“, the net would be 5'6“ x 4'9". Obviously, there would be restrictions on how big equipment can get, but what I want to see is more acrobatic goal tending as opposed to the robotic styles we see nowadays.
