As unfortunate as that is kamo, some people will never change and that's a fact. You would think that by 2013 people would just learn to accept others and move on. But it sucks to know that racism still exists, being Indian I know that first hand.

But i disagree with hurt. Its no secret that aboriginals in Canada haven't been treated the best in the past, so all the power to them right now to stand up for themselves. Its not like they're being violent (that I'm aware of anyway). I don't see how it should make others angry. People aren't angry about the movement, they're angry that its aboriginals doing it. I haven't heard too many negative things, so I hope these people your talking about kamo are in the minority.

Yeah up here was always pretty racist, it was easy enough to ignore before but now it's getting violent.

Yeah it seems as though it might be something the government might have wanted for Ontario. But that could just be me.

This avatar is more suited for charlio.
HEy! I resemble that remark.
How do you guys feel towards this whole Idle No More movement?

I don't understand it 100% but I just want to say it's much harder to be native right now, much moreso than it was before.

I've been getting more and more dirty looks from random people just walking around, even in some shops (smaller mom and pop type places) I'm gettin crappy service or getting refused completely and kicked out of the store.

Got told to "go back to your tribe you dirty Indian" for the first time ever today, like wtf man.

That's not even the worst of it, it's making the news here that a native lady was kidnapped and sexually assaulted and that a native student was picked up by cops and dropped off and left way on the outskirts of town in the cold.

Just this week two of my friends were jumped and attacked by groups of people and had to go to the hospital, and I've heard similar stories from many others.

Like damn, people can suck :(

****** people are acting like that.

But people are getting sick of hearing about special treatment.
My Great Grandma was Blackfoot and half my wife's family are Algonquin. HEr Granddad has scars on his back from the whips they used on him in residential school.

But Everyone should be treated the same.

The continued escalation of protests, has done nothing but create an escalation of resentment. IT is a vicious circle and no one will win.

There has been violence. And property destruction.

PEople are angry about their trains being delayed, and their roads being closed. WHO is doing it is not an issue, until the POlice refuse to do anything.

They actually arrested a guy for trying to wave a Canadian flag in Caledonia.

There should be no duality under the law but apparently there is.

Yeah you're right about it being a vicious circle.

One side protests which makes the other angry which makes the other protest some more which makes the other side even angrier and so on and so on.

I've got a feeling no one is going to follow the cap rules in LLKL, though i'd imagine it won't matter much since the ceiling is fairly high.

I don't really want to make the LL "that" kind of thread any longer so I'm fine with dropping the subject.

Soo...

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone here has done p90x? Have a couple of questions about it. Me personally, Im a guy with a very, very undersized body (5'10'' 125lbs) and havent worked out in 2 years. Wondering if this would be a good place to start. (Yes Im fully committed to this). And two, Ive noticed its quite expensive and was wondering if I could get away with just any chipup/pullup bar and resistance bands or if I had to buy the ones right from them. Any help would be great

I didn't know you were Indian as well but agreed some views like this are always present and there and it's damn damn frustrating.

I am from Fredericton and aboriginals are held pretty highly in front of the crowd but behind their backs there are a lot of backlash unfortunately.
