Not bad.. Icy as all **** out right now. But it's warming up around here.. Feeling better about the longer days we've been getting and the warmer weather.. It's great. Birthday in 6 days too. How about you buddy? Got that interview planned out?

I hear ya, I love that the days get longer and longer as go It's nice waking up to some blue sky and driving to work while the sun is rising

I'm dragging my feet this morning, was up late because of hockey. Still gotta call that guy back, but I'm not sure if I should given how tired I am right now Maybe in an hour

Yeah there's nothing better then in the Winter, waking up to light. It's not as doom and gloom as waking up to darkness and going to sleep to darkness.. I love the winter sun. Hopefully it can melt all the ice now, because it's pretty deadly out here.

Nope It really depends on the job, but it'll be a very hard decision .. If they want to pay me a lot more than I currently make, it'll be crazy

Wow slow night in ze lounge

Just got home, team lost 5-4 .. Difference was we were short bodies (only 3 on the bench), but we played them hard all the way .. Just weren't getting the bounces

Bright side is I got 3 assists, and 4 PIMs on a couple minors ..

My first penalty I hooked this guy hard enough in the ribs that he got pissed and held onto my stick before I let go of it and then he threw it away so he got a match unsportsmanlike penalty

The second penalty I was in a footrace with their one dangler who got the puck at the sideboards near the hashmarks in our zone and tried to cut in front of the net .. I dropped my shoulder into him for a good collision into the post knocking the net off .. That one rung a bit but it was worth it

3 apples felt nice .. Over a PPG pace in beer league

.. Come home as my roommates booty call comes over too, the girl from his birthday two weeks ago that I had to call a cab for after he fell asleep .. Awkward moment number two seeing her

If they did, that's a hell of an incentive ... I've only got about $4,000 left on my SUV loan until that is done .. Then it's all savings for my own place

Funny thing though, I just got out of a meeting and was about to call the guy back when his secretary called me on his behalf wanting to schedule an interview .. So it's all set up for Friday morning at 10am

Interestingly enough it's not like a formal interview, he wants to meet me in a Starbucks in their office building and sit down over a coffee for a chat. I'm a huge fan of this actually, that signals to me that this place is really personable and easy to talk to .. I hate those offices that go through that formal interview process, I feel like a tool in those things

Not quite .. It is beer league after all .. I'm only 2 goals away from tying my career high though from my first season (in 2008-2009) with this team .. That was when I was playing forward and I scored 8 goals in the 25 or so games I played .. I play defense now and at 6.

I will say I'm out team's leading D scorer though

Yeah that's pretty awesome that he's meeting you in a coffee shop instead of just trying to get you in his office or something weird like that. It makes it easier to talk. Maybe they really want you and they know that since you like where you work now they are going to have to sell you on it. Hope it works out bud.

Thanks, I'm slightly impressed already .. Should be interesting, initially I was going to prepare a copy of my resume and a copy of the job description with a clipboard and paper to write on (make myself look very organized and interested) but I'm wondering if I should change my approach to be more casual

Honestly my biggest fear right now is the guy saying how much do you want, or how much will it take to get you to take the job That's such a tough spot to be put in

Just make sure he is aware what you make now and the reason you are showing interest is because you realize you are getting close to your income ceiling for your job, and you want to keep moving up the income ladder.

That's not the only reason I want the job, but it's apart of it
