Leading Swedish players in NHL playoffs?

Besides Kuch and Bob.

Ovie, wouldn't wish to have him in team Finland these upcoming Olympics. He could not even beat or lead his team against the Canes with Aho who are getting smashed by Panthers. Same Aho I consider as Finlands fourth option as center.
Kuz wont participate for Russian national team.

So besides Kucherov, Kaprizov and Russian goalies? Malkin is the only one I would consider making the current Swedish and Finnish team. Not enough buddy.

Also, Sweden won the gold with just as great players like Lidas, Foppa, Sudden and others... Is that or will it be relevant 2026? Will those players in their prime play? My point exactly. Weak take.

See this is what I mean. One good postseason and Finnish posters become leaf fan level of obnoxious. No class.

Like you are the one on insisting on mentioning completely irrelevant and old news. If anything you are being nostalgic and nothing more. Hasn't anything to do with class. And you generalizing a complete nation or pinpointing with your black or white perspective shows that you are the one lacking class or a clever mind. You are welcome.

I'm being honest and if you can't handle the truth or another persons perspective? Why bother? It's not like I wouldn't mind having the Russian goalies? Getting McDavid, Pastrnak, Forsling or Draisaitl in my team? But I guess you won't mention or consider that because then your take would just be weak and invalid?

Lol! True. I have a feeling he has some Russian origin but he thought it would make his case weaker so he didn't want to mention it :D (a joke, take it easy.) I mean why would you go that mad when a Finn believes more in his team than the Russian if you are American? Makes almost no sense.

Lol did i just provoke this thread. 😆Reality is that USA, Canada, Sweden, Finland, Swiss and even Czhechia is having good chance to win Olympic gold at best of the best tournament. I hope we see more best of best hockey at future though.

Germany too. Never count out a team that has Seider, Drai, Stutzle, Peterka. They are probably gonna be matched really hard. Rest of the German roster is not that good but they are hardworking and will play it safe.

I support USA which anyone in International Forum would know through hundreds of posts across a decade and a half.

Now I did not attack Finns, you started a thread to talk about how Swedish players stink in the Playoffs and as a way to brag about Finnish players having a good postseason. So you are the one that brought hostility into thread. From what I see, nobody else is out bragging about their nationals performance this year. All I said is it'd be funny if all the bragging resulted in Kasperi Kapanen being the only Finnish player to win a Cup this year. If you got your feelings hurt by that comment, that's a you issue.

I did not get my feelings hurt because I think you have been wrong the whole time. And while you spat out some generalizing nonsense it just made it easier for me to not care about your opinions or takes quite frankly.
If anything, you insisting on writing here with a sour take and a made up mind and perspective gives the impression of you being the hurt one. But I guess you just wanna state whatever makes you happy or feeling superior. And I don't think your take with Kappy was either that controversial or funny tbh. It just made you sound even more mad or grumpy if anything. Including irony or sarcasm and then speculating regarding others getting hurt or not is just a weak argument making you seem to be on thin ice and lack of valid points. Lastly completely uninteresting and again, irrelevant.

Sum all you own comments, read them. And tell me afterwards that every take you had wasn't made up with your own speculations and your own perspective. A perspective you already seemed to have before I created this thread. Meaning...? You generalize Finns. And you haven't answered other simple questions. Like if you think Russians are superior in any kind of way compared to the Finns? Or which national team you support and so on... All in all, you bash others and you do so by creating their standpoints in your own head. Which makes the debate weird because you insist on making your own arguments and the other persons as well. That's not being humble and secure on your own and your arguments. Quite the opposite.

Cmon I'm Fin and if i have a chance i will always troll Swedes if it is possible. It is what it is. 🤣

If I take a look at the juniors, sure, Sweden has some "strange" statistics. But let's be honest, Canada and the USA clearly dominate in the junior division. Finland has certainly gotten in the way, but certainly not because they have such super-talented players, but rather because of their special style of hockey. That's why Sweden is and remains No. 3 in the juniors. Perhaps there's a mentality problem? But I wouldn't make too much of it. A lot can be explained with logic. Especially at an ice hockey world championship. Perhaps that final will to win gold is missing. Like with the USA many years ago?
