Its just a comment of man who doesn't know much about the draft. So its ok to be wrong about Buium for this kind of man.

i don't know how anyone who looks at faber and doesn't see similar qualities in buium. the only thing my wild's D core are missing is some crease clearing beef. as long as kaprizov stays and yurov is as good or better than boldy lookout nhl WE'RE COMIN! (kevin garnett)

Faber is a much better skater, but otherwise I agree there are some similarities.

Faber was much better defensively in college, Buium much better offensively. Part of that was what their respective teams asked of them.

If Buium was asked to be a lockdown defensive Dman, I'm not sure how good he would be at it. As is, the hope would be that he is primarily an offensive Dman, but one who is decent defensively, i.e. Fox.

Faber has already exceeded offensive expectations offensively for him, so it's hard to predict where he is going from here, but I would still say that his more of a defense first Dman. More of a Suter, type, hopefully.

Any prospect from any draft has bust potential 2 months post draft. That post is more of a target on the sens drafting than Yak there is even a chance that Zeev can be better than Yak but ill take Yak for sure. I predict ill revive this thread in 2-3 years to taunt and the mods will shut it down XD

Mom elite prospects just dropped a new video on my favourite teams prospect, I clearly won this internet argument when the other player hasn't even played a game yet!

The ironic thing in all this is that I'm actually a big yak fan and have been since before the draft. Had him in my top 10 (Buium and Yak were my 2 favourite d of this draft, keep in mind im ranking based on fantasy potential and not NHL). But for some reason you can't handle me thinking buium is better and making a little joke

In my fantasy league I drafted Buium #8 with Yak and Parekh still available. Parekh went 9 and then I traded for the 10th pick and took Yak. I had Parekh in front of Yak but the separation is very close. I hope all 3 are stars!

Great stuff. From an objective view, as someone who likes Zeev as a prospect but is not ready to kill the teams ahead of the Wild who did not select him, none of the players on the ice for Northeastern are likely to play in the NHL.
