Good to see him putting up numbers. But after playing college hockey he would seem to have an advantage playing against kids.

He was fantastic offensively in the BCHL. Totally misused in college. He's been the 2nd best defenseman in the playoffs this year (Mateychuk is just insanely good this playoffs)

Interesting decision. He's the leading WHL in points for a defenseman. Kraken are NOT offering an ELC? That would be downright stupid of them.

No way for me to know for sure but I would guess he signs his ELC this season. There will be spots available in Coachella and its not like the Kraken are overflowing with D prospects.

If he does, I would think Francis would talk to him, figure out where he wants to play, and maybe trade his rights to that team. No point in keeping a player around who doesn't want to be there.

So he's hedging his bets both ways? If they offer an ELC, he de-commits. Can't sign an ELC and play college.
Crazier scenario is that he doesn't sign and becomes a free agent.
He is still very slight and already 21 and teams only have so much room for guys his size on the back end, is he that type of guy?
